What Do Inter Menstrual Bleeding And Lower Back Pain Indicate?
Question: I have been having inter menstrual bleeding for some months now. Normally it goes away but this month has lasted 7 days and getting heavier. Accompanied with lower back pain. Current tests done: STDS, clear ( as of Nov 16th) , ultrasound : Right endometria horn measure 9mm, and left 16mm. There is scattered cystic change throughout left horn. No other endometrial lesion. Right ovary volum 9cc, left ovary volum 3cc. There may be ruptured corpus luteum cysts in right ovary. No other ovarian mass.
I am very concered about this issue as never had had so much inter menstrual bleeding and pain before. I have one child 3 yo, pre term delivery. 1 hysteroscopy performed last year.

Brief Answer:
Due to endometrial changes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The intermenstrual bleeding that you are having can be due to the endometrial changes in the uterus. This is usually hormone related and the amount and duration of bleeding can be variable. Persistent bleeding will be associated with a pain. It is best to consult your gynecologist and start with proper hormonal tablets to control the bleeding.
