What Do Intermittent Constipation Episodes Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have had constipation for about four days with intermittent relief every day or so in the form of reduced bowel movements. There is no pain, per se, but there is a mild ache every once in a while in abdomen, usually mid to upper left quadrant. I have no blood and appetite is good. I am 54, overweight (5-10, 250 and have eaten many heavy lunch meals recently after missing breakfast.
Brief Answer:
Constipation for days
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking.
I read carefully your case.
Your pain in your upper left abdomen in my opinion is because of constipation.
Maybe you have to use laxatives at the beginning e.g. Duphalac once at bed time and change your eating habits by consuming more vegetables. In case constipation gets worse you have to take enema.
I will be happy if you contact me again.
Merry Christmas!
Kindly
