What Do Itchy And Pus-filled Bumps On The Lower Legs Indicate?
Question: I have had an oozing, blistering sore on the back of my lower left leg for at least 2 weeks. It is circular, very itchy, had many little blisters qhich are mostly dried up now.
I also had a line of sores on front of left leg. These also took forever to heal. They are in a long line like stem of a plant. Curved.
On several spots on both legs have been solitary small blisters, which leave deep holes when i pick at them.
All this developed 2 days after working hard in the garden.
But also I have had geital herpes type 1 and I read that outbreaks can occur on legs (that's it's sometimes shingles or another skin ailment.
Do you think this could be an outbreak herpes, except on my legs?
Is this also the progression of poison ivy or oak?

Hello
Thanks for the photographs and sorry for delay in reply.
You have developed eczema with bacterial infection.
It's not herpes.
I treat such cases with a mild steroid cream like cortisone to be applied in night and an antibacterial cream like mupirocine to be applied in morning.
Take an antihistamine tablet like cetrizine for itch.
Try this combination for a week.
You should get relief.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
