What Do Itchy Red Spots On The Arms And Neck Indicate?
Question: I have woken up for over a week with itchy red spots all have been on my left arm and one on the back of my neck. They don't have bite marks just red blotches. I put itch medicine on them and it goes away but another one comes up? I have changed my sheets? What next?

I am sorry that you are having this problem. It does sound like some sort of bite is the most likely cause, however allergies could also be the problem.
Make sure that you wash all your sheets, towels, bed linen and clothes worn recently in hot water and dry them on a high heat setting.
If you have pets, check them carefully for any insect activity.
If you are outdoors check for any possible dormant poison ivy. You get this type of rash from the oil of the plant, not just the leaves, so contact with vines can cause problems. Also pets can bring this in to you.
Be aware of any metal that comes in contact with your skin. Nickel allergies are common and this is often found in jewelry and things like belt buckles.
If you try all of these things and the problem persists you may need to see a dermatologist for testing.
