What Do Mild Headaches After Total Hysterectomy Indicate?
Hormonal imbalance more likely
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
Regarding your worry about Alzheimer's, I would like to make you present that headache is not part of Alzheimer's symptoms so it is a point against it. Familial cases also are only a minority, over 90% of Alzheimer's cases are sporadic, so if you have no other family members and considering your father should have developed disease at a late age there is no reason to think about Alzheimer's.
Most probably, given also the relation in time, your symptoms are related to hormonal changes, at times it can be difficult to restore the proper balance. Hormonal changes can cause headaches, memory issues, depression and anxiety (these last two in turn can cause attention deficits mistaken for memory issues). So I believe that to be the cause.
Of course if headaches persist a physical exam and perhaps brain imaging can be scheduled to exclude a brain tumor, but I really don't think it likely.
I remain at your disposal for further questions.
