Brief Answer:
This is used in diagnosing a condition called multiple myeloma!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this finding and all the disturbing thoughts this has caused you. I have reviewed your information fully and understand why you are being asked to see a cancer specialist. Kappa monoclonal antibodies are important in the diagnosis of a bone condition called multiple myeloma. This is a form of cancer common in the elderly. It often presents with low back pain and low hemoglobin. Findings of these monoclonal antibodies are suggestive and would prompt more tests which may include bone marrow examination and imaging to pinpoint the exact meaning and treat accordingly.

Unless otherwise, most persons are not immediately put on treatment even if the diagnosis is confirmed unless there are reasons to do so. monitoring is the best initial approach to determine whether the client would need treatment or not sometime later.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
