All prescribed tests are mandatory in your case
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through your reports in detail.
Based on your reports, you need HBeAg, IgM anti HBC and HBV DNA estimation.
This is to assess the severity of viral replication and indicate need for escalation of does of antiviral drugs.
The need for UGIE is to know to whether imminent bleeding veins have developed in the stomach or esophagus in the setting of chronic liver disease which can cause a condition known as Portal hypertension. This pH can cause esophageal varices. If detected early through UGIE, they can be prevented from rupture and bleeding.
Elastography directly assess the liver architecture to detect the possibility of liver fibrosis which can subsequently lead to cirrhosis and PH.
Hence all tests advised by your doctor are extremely mandatory even though you do not currently experience any symptoms.
Thank you.
