Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome back on HCM!
I carefully reviewed your tests and would recommend as follows:
1. Regarding your blood lipid profile lifestyle modifications (physical activity and diet modifications) are the best measures to help normalize your HDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
2. Regarding your uric acid levels, I would recommend starting allopurinol 100mg daily. It will help normalize your uric acid levels. In addition, it is advisable to reduce food containing meat and its derivates.
3. Regarding your vitamin D levels, I would recommend starting vitamin D 3 supplements (plus calcium supplements if your calcium plasma levels are low).
You should know that high uric acid levels and low vitamin D levels (leading to calcium and phosphorus imbalance) could explain the pain in your leg, muscles cramps and your persistent fatigue.
From the other hand, your leg pain needs to be further investigated in regards, of a possible peripheral arterial disorder. A Doppler ultrasound of the leg vessels would help to clarify this issue.
Regarding your chest pain, I would advise performing one of the following cardiac tests (whichever available in your attending medical center), to exclude a possible coronary artery disease:
- cardiac stress ECHO,
- coronary angio CT
- or nuclear cardiac stress test (CARDIOLITE)
If the above tests result than a coronary artery disorder would be excluded with a high probability. Otherwise, if suspicions are raised, than you should proceed to coronary angiography.
Hope to have been helpful!
In case of any further uncertainties, please do not hesitate to ask me again!
Best wishes,
Dr. Iliri
