Brief Answer:
Steps to be taken
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for getting back
Here are my interpretations
1. Low Vit D is a cause for concern. I usually prescribe Calcitriol 0.25 once a day for 3 months. Another way is to take weekly supplements, 60,000 IU once a week along with milk for 6 weeks.
2. You have persistent loss of protein in urine. The level of albumin in urine does not warrant biopsy however it needs to be treated and quantified. I suggest starting ACE/ARB tablets. I usually start Tab Enalapril 2.5 mg once a day and titrate it upwards. Protein loss in urine is harmful to the kidneys on the long run. I also recommend getting a 24 hour urine protein done next time
3. Red blood cells in urine could be related to the renal stone. If you are not symptomatic I agree with your doctors that no intervention is necessary at the moment.
All other test results are within normal limits
I hope I was of help, please get back to me for any further queries.
Regards

Thank you Dr. Madhyastha,
I am taking the Vitamin D 50,000 iu once a week. I was not being consistent taking it. I am making sure I take it now.
Is there anyway to find out why I am having persistent protein in the urine. What is causing it?
the Tab Enalapril 2.5 mg is that for life or just until the numbers reach normal levels?

Brief Answer:
Enalapril
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for getting back, I am sorry for the short delay in my reply
The only way to find out why you are losing protein is by undergoing a kidney biopsy. Unfortunately there are no indirect markers to know why you might be losing protein
Enalapril will control your protein and usually it is for life and cannot be stopped. Stopping it might recurr the protein loss
