What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?
Question: My doctor had told me that i have an autoimmune disease, but not sure which one since
i was not showing many symptoms. I just had another round of blood work done, her diagnosis showed systemic lupus- which she told me previously that I do not have. I do not want to wait for 3 weeks to understand my results. can you help?

Brief Answer:
Scleroderma / CREST syndrome / Mixed connective tissue disorder
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. I went through your labs and i saw that ANA is positive which means there is an autoimmune disorder. Another positive work up is anti centromere B antibody which makes its connective tissue disorder likely scleroderma and CREST syndrome etc.
It needs complete clinical correlation with the work up and then managed accordingly. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please .

And how bad does it look????What other tests should I expect?
Brief Answer:
May need some more blood work
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getitng back to me
These tests are pretty much conclusive and enough. However they may request some more blood work up for other possible mixed connective tissue diseases. Its too early to comment on how does it look. But one thing is for sure , its not treatable, only manageable with lifelong medications like rest of the 90 % of diseases. Get back to your rheumatologist and let them sort it out for you.
I hope it helps.
