Question: Which one is correct ANA profile test?
I recently had blood test ANA Screening by IFA method from thyrocare doctor asked me to do ANA profile? I am looking at lab which lab do ANA profile every lab has different name for test not sure which one is correct test?

Well ANA profile is a group of 9-10 different autoimmune marker. Besides ANA, it also consists of dys DNA, anti centromere antibody, anti histone antibody, anti XXXXXXX 1 antibody, Anti RO (SS-B), Anti LA (SS-A), Anti scl - 70, Anti SM antibody.
Please reconfirm with the treating doctor if he concurs with me. You can accordingly share this information with lab centre and get the test performed.
