What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

Question: hello
my mother name is Labanya Prusty. she has long 10 years diabetes. she has used to have 200 to 220 in fasting and with food. but in last month she decided to start insulin... doctor even suggest that to start insulin. so first 10 mg... but didnt change anything... so dose become more... now she taking 18 before breakfast anfd 12 before lunch and 10 before dinner and 34 mg every 24 hours. but stull today she checked it wad 430 in fastin and it didn't effect after taking so much medicine and insulin. i upload one lazt month check up and medicine and one is recent check up and its report. please suggest which medicine to take or she need to continue with insulin or need to depend on medicine. she upset so much. please suggest so the medicne will take effect and down her sugar leven to 150to 200. please suggest she change her diet planshe taking fruits and not eating any sugarand or anything related to sugar. so please suggesr good and please help.. please check tge date of report so you can know when it take the report. please help it out

Hi Sir, Gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir, I have gone through your reports in detail. At this sugar levels, the best thing to be done is to admit her in a near by hospital under her treating doctor. It may take around 4-5 days to titrate the doses of insulin. This condition is not advised to be treated as Out Patient. But one thing to remember is the sugar levels will be controlled and need not worry. Support your mother mean while psychologically.

There is a need in increase of insulin and also the medication. But, that should be done under strict supervision in this condition.

So, Try to admit her in the hospital. Once the doses are titrated and sugar levels are under control, probable which happens in 4-5 days, she will be discharged with the correct doses.

but she is totakky fine... do you suggest any medicine or any doses to change or any change insulin dosage.. what will you suggest how to control the diabetes with correct diet plan and i can understand that the hospital admission is necessary will you suggest any medicne or any insulin with effective value please suggest

Hi Sir,

The Insulin dose can be increased to 20 - 15 - 15, morning afternoon and night. The medicine to be added is Voglibose 0.3 three times a day. The rest of the treatment is same. This is only a suggestion sir. You have to get this medication prescribed by your doctor and cannot be done on your own.

Even though she looks fine, why my suggestion for hospitalization is, while increasing the dosage of insulin, some times there is a chance of hypoglycemia also. So any change of increasing dosage of insulin here after should be done under strict supervision. I hope you understand me.

Regarding diet, No sugars, Fruits that can be taken are guava, Papaya and apple. The meals should be small and frequent.
