How serious are these fractures? How long would it take to fix all these?
Are there any indications of nerve damages?
Are there any indications of nerve damages?
Brief Answer:
It will take 4-6 weeks for rib and pelvis healing.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The fractures will heal in 4-6 weeks. Once her general condition is stabilized, hemo and pneumothorax is resolved then surgery can be planned for femur fracture. A nerve damage cannot be diagnosed by a CT scan. Proper examination by a neurologist and MRI scan are needed to find the extent of nerve damage.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Can you tell me what is hemo and pneumothorax? Is hospitalization necessary for all these while?
How much would it generally cost for femur fracture surgery?
How much would it generally cost for femur fracture surgery?
Brief Answer:
Details below.
Detailed Answer:
Hemothorax means blood in the chest cavity and pneumothorax means air in the chest cavity. This happens due to rib fracture. Hospitalization depends on her general condition. If she has a difficulty in breathing or too much internal bleeding then hospitalization is needed for few days. She needs a proper examination by an orthopedician and treatment will depend on the clinical assessment. The cost of surgery can vary according to the complications, type of hospital and duration of indoor stay. It can cost you nearly 50,000INR.
