What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 20 Apr 2017
Question: I have had terrible pain in my right side for two years now. Have had mri's, cat scans, blood work, ultra sounds, with nothing showing up. All tests have been normal. Never have a good day where I feel "normal". Pain can get worse with certain actions, mixing something in a bowl, mopping floor, running a vacuuming, certain days I have what you would call flair ups, pain is severe, cannot get comfortable, laying, standing, etc, will pass in a few hours but I am physically exhausted and spend the rest of the day sitting around. Cannot even drive in a car for an hour as when I get to destination I sometimes am not sure I can get out of car. Seen many doctors, nothing has helped. Where to go from here? Expensive and frustrating. Help please

Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to muscle spasm

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Your complaints are in all possibilities caused due to muscle spasm. You need to visit a physical therapist who would be able to customize exercises for you. He would also be able to administer ultrasonotherapy which helps in pain relief. Hot compress would also be beneficial. You may ask your doctor to prescribe some muscle relaxants for you. Taking paracetamol or acetaminophen 500 mg two tablets together when needed should also help.

Try these. Let me know if that helped. Feel free to write back in case of further queries.
