Posted on Fri, 3 Nov 2017
Question: Whenever I feel acidity, I feel pain in the top left part of my stomach (just below my chest), So, I did a LFT test (report is attached). I see Bilurubin is little on higher side. What do you suggest?

FYI - As I always suffer from acidity/gas if I eat food outside, 2 years back I have done an endoscopy and showed a gastroenterologist where he treated me for antral gastritis - I have take Pan D in the morning in empty stomach and Meva C in the night after food for three month, I felt better during the course of medicine, then he stopped it and asked me to focus on regular exercise.

Brief Answer:
USG abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Your liver test values are only insignificantly raised.
The most probably reason could be fatty liver.
You can get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen to look for fatty liver.

If there is persistence or recurrence of upper abdominal pain, get tested for H.pylori infection. Till then you can continue taking Pan-D.

Regards,
Dr.R.K.
