Detailed Answer:
Hello my dear patient,
Have gone through your details and i appreciate your concerns.
I could very well understand the level of frustration you must be having right now.
But believe me if you follow a proper line of investigation we could figure out the problem and once we know the cause of your problem we can easily treat it.

Going through your narration there are two possibility-

1)Chronic gastroenteritis-Enteritis means inflammation. If not tresated properly it becomes recurrent like in your case.

So initially i would suggest you to take a course of antiprotozoal with antibacterial for 5 days.
Take
Tab Azithromycin 500 mg once daily at 9 a.m
Tab Flagyl 400 mg thrice daily at 9a.m -2p.m-9p.m

If the problem recurrs then we would investigate you on lines of IBS.
Irritable bowel syndrome.-In irritable bowel symdrome there is some problem with functions of our gut but anatomically every thing is normal therefore all tests would turn up to be normal but patient would be symptomatic.

In lay mans language we still don't know the exact cause of IBS.Patient may be symptomatic every day or symptoms may be off and on in nature.

So initially i would suggest you to go for following tests-
Colonoscopy(to rule out pathology of intestines)
Endoscopy(to rule out problem with upper gut)
MRI whole abdomen to ruke out any abdominal pathology.

If all turns out normal you have IBS.

Weekness fatigue malaise lassitute lack of energy and flu like symptoms are due to malabsorbtion of nutrients from intestines. When food is not properly digested and absorbed there is deficiency of vitamins and minerals in your body causing the above mentioned symptoms.

What you need is a complete evaluative investigations so that after a proper diagnosis you could be treated.

Revert back with reports.

Thanks!

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
In IBS all testscare normal becausecthere is no structural problem with gut.
Pepsin is a digestive enzyme and may be helpful but no big role in IBS.

Detailed Answer:
No initially i would suggest you to take proper 5 days therapy for gastroenteritis.
Take Zithromax(Azithromycin 500 mg once daily) and secnidazole 1 gram daily for 5 days. These are antibiotics and need prescription from a doctor.
Along witth it take external digestive enzymes twice daily before meal.
Probiotic like VSL#3 twice daily.
If not relieved in 5 days then we would consider IBS as a possibility.

Thanks.
