I have been experiencing extreme fatigue for the past 7 months. I've seen several docs about it, who have done a lot of bloodwork. Everything has been fine until now. This past week I developed palpitations and tachycardia on and off.
Brief Answer:
You may have chronic fatigue syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have severe fatigue with high C4a level and all other laboratory tests are normal. So you may have chronic fatigue syndrome. Many of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome can misdiagnosed as lyme disease because of high c4a level.
Chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis required many criteria. No laboratory test can be useful to confirm chronic fatigue syndrome.
Severe fatigue for more then 6 months, muscle pain, join pain, nonrefreshing sleep, headache, tender lymphnodes, recurrent sore throat are some of the criteria.
It require team approach to diagnose and treat chronic fatigue syndrome.
Consult your doctor and discuss with him regarding this.
Then take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
