Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.
I realize that you had got tested for HIV antibodies and antigen on several occasions and each time the results were negative. But still I recommend you to get tested at 6 months for confirmation by ELISA TEST. As it has been reported in few cases where delayed immune response were seen up to six months. But it is 99.99% likely for tests to remain negative. So you don't have to worry. It is just a routine protocol by international guidelines. Follow safe sex practices in future.
Take care.

Detailed Answer:
Well come back.
1.CMIA test is a chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay for the simultaneous qualitative detection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV type 1 (HIV-1 group M and group O) and/or type 2 (HIV-2) in human serum and plasma (EDTA and heparin) based on chemiluminescent assay. HIV ELISA is based on enzymes and substrates detects antigen, antibodies or both. These both tests are highly reliable(97-99.99%) sensitive.
2. The reason for delay in immune response could be genetic, malignancies, immunocompromized states like transplants, etc.
3. In blood firstly the virus is detected by PCR then antigen appears then antibodies. Till 12 weeks due to low viral load it is possible that antigen goes undetected.
4. Yes it is said between 3-6 months. But better at 6 months to be on the safer side.
5. No cough with sputum cannot be directly linked to HIV it could be seasonal flu with secondary infection. Steam inhalation and antibiotics suggested.
Take care.
