What Do Persistent Chills Indicate Despite No Fever And Taking Aleve Medication?

Question: YYYY@YYYY
I am 54 y old female. 5'8"; 140 lbs I get daily chills/hair standing up on arms and feel feverish but dont actually have a fever. I am exhausted all day. This has been ongoing for 3-4 months. I take Aleve 2 pills 1-2 X day--use to help with pain alot...now sometimes helps with the chills but not always
I have lab evidence of RA but joints affected are elbow and shoulder and are more likely result of overuse and old age and spinal compression/arthritis
I swim 2-3,000 yards a day--in pain but if I dont i feel worse; I jog and lift light weights 4-5 X week but have lost alot of muscle strength and ROM.
Hx uveitis; hx taking Humira and MTX but stopped as didnt really seem like my sx fit RA.
Thoughts on workup...should I pursue thyroid? or other lab work?

Brief Answer:
Please get a full diagnostic evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to health care magic, increased sweating can be due to many causes---
Diabetes, anxiety, Heat exhaustion
Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), Leukemia and some other cancers
Malaria,Tuberculosis
Menopause
Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining)
Obesity
Please get a full diagnostic evaluation to rule out all these.
Keep a temperature record twice a day for a week. Also a daily weight record.
Meanwhile take flavenoids and phyto estrogens like green tea, soya products, lemon juice. These may help. Avoid all pain killers. Regular use can damage kidneys.
I hope this helps you.
Regards
