Brief Answer:
Both normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Grunt and strain may be due to breathing difficulty due to some mucous. Breast fed babies usually have loose stools only and they go for stools many times a day. It is normal. Do let me know if they are being fed formula, etc. Also let me know if they have any relevant medical history. Otherwise no treatment needed for loose stools. If formula fed then please use cleaner water to prepare formula. If breast feeding, then mother can take cleaner water and hygienic food.

Regarding baby 2, red rash on cheeks maybe erythema infectiosum. It is a harmless condition and resolve by itself. No treatment needed. Kindly upload photo of the rash.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
