What Do Scanty Menstrual Bleeding And Abdominal Cramps Indicate?

Question: Hi we are trying for a baby for the last 14 months this month I expected my period on the 9 th but for 3 days have a scant dark brown discharge I only see when I wipe once or twice a day barely noticeable on the toilet paper today my husband and I were intimate and a while after I used the restroom and noticed there was bright pinkish red blood on the toilet paper not a lot and only once... Now I'm worried because last week I had all my pre menstrual symptoms but they went away on Saturday and now my boobs hurt and I have very scant cramping and only cramp before I notice the discharge and random twinges I'm to terrified to take a test and see another negative since the discharge is bright now. Is something wrong?

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Three days scanty brown discharge are a menstrual cycle .
Hence if it is the first time , there is nothing to worry.
If it happen other times than you should have a detailed gynecologic examination to exclude any issue .

If your cycle is regular and you ovulate you can try to conceive and for 10 months .
But if during this time you will not conceive than you should contact with infertility specialist.
