Question: Cold going on 2 weeks. Had sore throat, went to my head, only a slight dry cough, now gone. Left with sinus congestion, ears fuzzy, tiredness. I am on anti-biotics and steroid nose spray. I cannot seem to clear my sinuses and ears- lots of popping when I blow my nose.

Brief Answer:
Sinusitis with Eustachian tube blockage

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
You are having eustachian tube blockage due to nasal congestion causing popping up sensation in the ears.
You should take tablet levocetrizine plus pseudoephedrine twice daily alongwith antibiotics and nasal spray. Take steam inhalation and chew a gum that will also help decongest the tube and relieve the symptoms.
Avoid blowing into the ears as this might introduce infection into the ears.
Get a x-ray paranasal sinuses done.
wishing you a speedy recovery.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
Thanks and regards
