Brief Answer:
threatened miscarriage with low lying placenta.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
the reports indicate that you have a low lying placenta which is reaching the os, and hence there is a possibility that there may be subchorionic bleed which is seen as a discharge per vaginum. You need to be on bed rest till the bleeding stops and have to be placed on progesterone support for at least 2 more weeks.
Avoid lifting any kind of weights and avoid intercourse completely. If the bleeding doesn't stop after 48hrs of rest then get a ultrasound done again to check for foetal viability.

What does threatened abortion mean and how relevant is it at this stage ?
Also my doctor gave me two injections and told me to do normal stuff but no overexertiom.
And I am supposed to travel on 22nd this month. Will that be possible.
Any other precautions to be taken

Brief Answer:
precautions for low lying placenta
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Any bleeding during pregnancy is called threatened miscarriage unless proven otherwise. In your case you have a reason- placenta previa or low lying placenta.
the two injections must be that of progesterones to support the pregnancy further and rest is advisable till bleeding completely stops.
Travelling should be undertaken only after 18-20 weeks of gestation.
As i mentioned earlier, running, over exertion, lifting weights, sex, climbing stairs and sitting cross legs and bending should be avoided. This may cause bleeding to get initiated so has to be avoided.
