What Do These Fasting Blood Sugar Levels Indicate?
Question: My fasting sugar this morning when i took at where 110 and an hour later it was 129. My A1C is 5.7 and aeg is 116. Am i diabetic ?

Post meal 2 hours:<140
HbA1C:< 6
At present you cannot be labelled as diabetic.
If you had high sugar level in past,just keep regular checking at least 3 months and be physically active,do regular exercise.

My first fasting reading was 110 and the second one again fasting which i took after an hour was 129. Why does it vary?

In fasting state,even if you do not ear the liver continuous to produce sugar from various sources. This could be the reason for this variation.
When the sugar falls below certain level,the various body mechanism starts acting and liver starts producing sugar.
The ideal fasting sugar is about 10 hours fasting from last meal.
