Kindly advise do I need further testing for HIV or do I take my tests as final & conclusive that I am free from infections. Getting confused if 6 months means 24 weeks or 180 days. Since 29th May 15 I have had no risky sexual encounters at all.
PS- I am feeling completely normal otherwise and subsequent visits to Urologist after taking medication for Prostatitis showed recovery & doctor had put me off medication after 3 weeks course & advised me to continue Roliflo OD till October. I have stopped roliflo after feeling normal and now only medicine I am taking is Thyronorm under GPs guidance.
No STD or HIV. No further tests advised.

Hi
Thanks for your query at the HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.
Your case is not that complicated as you are thinking. I assure you that you have no HIV or STD infection. You need no further testing for them.
In your case you had developed genitourinary tract infection only. If you still get problem I advise you complete hemogram, ESR and Kidney function test. Get 3 days consecutive early morning midstream urine sample and semem sample tested for gram staining, wet microscopy and culture both for bacteria and fungus. Also get urine leukocyte esterase and nitrite test with urinalysis done. USG abdomen and pelvis also advised. Then depending upon test results I would advise you treatment. Drink plenty of water. Continue thyronorm and prostate treatment as advised by your doctor.
Take care
Hope I answered your query
