What Do These Following Lab Reports Indicate?
This is a follow-up to your advice on 22 Sep 2015 on Generalised Anxiety Disorder.
------------------
"I can understand your concern. A lot of individuals with Generalised Anxiety Disorder suffer from repeated episodes of anxiety without any reason. The symptoms you are showing are probably due to generalised anxiety only but we have to rule out other medical causes first.
Low vitamin B12, iron deficiency, hyperthyroidism etc can result in increased attacks of anxiety. So I'd advise you to get you haemoglobin, B12 and thyroid hormone levels checked to rule out these conditions. If everything comes normal then visit a psychiatrist for help."

As advised, I've undergone the tests - attached the lab reports. Please recommend the next line of treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking again from HCM
I have read the reports and more or less most of parameters are normal. If we go by blood sugar levels then this should be given proper attention. Your fasting as well as post prandial sugar levels are in higher range and this should not be ignored. You should talk to your physician to rule out diabetes. Repeat the fasting as well as post prandial sugar levels after a week and if the levels come abnormal then take proper treatment.
Though HbA1c levels are in normal range so no need to worry. The levels tell about long term control of sugar levels. As this is normal so we can rule out diabetes at this point at least.
Other parameters are normal so no need to worry. Vitamin B12 levels are though in normal range still I'd advise you to take vitamin B12 supplements for at least 4-8 weeks and this will help in normalising the levels.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts.
