Hi
Thanks for your query.
You can send the reports at YYYY@YYYY and address it to my name: Dr Vaishalee Punj.
I have your uploaded reports and found the following observations. I have found none of the following bad enough to start medicine.
Urinalysis is normal. Sugar/glucose is not detected in urine.
Red cell distribution width (RDW) is little raised and usually happens due to anemia. But your hemoglobin is normal so only Vitamin B12 levels can be checked to rule out megaloblastic anemia.
Mean platelet volume (mpv) is little raised. Has there some type of bleeding recently. If not then it can be safely ignored.
Now about lipid profile: cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL are raised. If LDL raises more than 190 than medicines are to be started. Since yours is lower, its recommended that lifestyle measures (diet and exercise) are initiated. In diet, avoid high calorie foods like butter, ghee, sweets, cream, icecream, cheese, etc. Take more of fiber and fruits. Regular exercise atleast 20 min a day is also needed. It can include gym, walk, yoga, swimming, cycling, etc. These measures do help in lowering cholesterol. Also because your liver function tests are abnormal, lipid lowering medicines should be avoided.
Now liver function tests: total bilirubin, AST, ALT are raised. It suggests hepatocellular damage. It must be correlated with clinical symptoms like recent fever, history of any medicine intake, history of alcohol intake, etc. Also further tests to rule of hepatitis virus are to be done. Till then you take measures to keep your liver healthy. These measures include taking hygienic, well cooked, food, cleanest drinking water from RO system (low tds), washing hands and food before eating. Taking healthy diet, take more fruits. Avoid buttermilk for sometime. Avoid alcohol intake. Avoid medicine intake. Syrup Liv52 1 tsp 2 times a day can be taken.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

My triglycerides and Direct LDL almost at the same level for last 3 years (i.e. on higher side) and indicate a higher exertion/effort to be done by Lever , hence would insist on getting your recommendation for medical pills or medical course , I should go through to bring them under normal level .
Let me know if you haven't got the complete report yet, even though I tried attaching all crucial one here.

Hi again
Yes I can understand that you have liver issue previously. Now also your liver function test not on normal side.
After seeing that I advised that you better stay off any medicines. High cholesterol will not do that much damage. But if liver gets worse it can really cause illness. So stay away from medicines. No matter how risky is high cholesterol for cardiovascular disease. It is still a risk factor only and not a disease. I am more worried about liver, not cholesterol.
Cholesterol Medicines are also cleared off by liver and can damage liver in the process.
LDL does get back towards normal with diet and regular exercise. Drink cleaner water. Take low fat diet and you will be fine.
Hope it clears your doubt.

Hi again
You are doing a nice job at keeping healthy lifestyle. I have already mentioned the most important changes to combat liver issues. The same apply to fatty liver as well.
These measures include taking hygienic, well cooked, food, cleanest drinking water from RO system (low tds), washing hands and food before eating. Taking healthy diet, take more fruits. Avoid buttermilk for sometime. Avoid alcohol intake. Avoid medicine intake.
In addition I will recommend the following:
- avoid fatty foods like sweets, sugary treats, cheese, butter, ghee. etc. Take low calorie diet.
- If you are taking raw garlic then it can have some irritation on stomach mucosa. So watch out this side effect.
Liver can heal by itself if the offending agent is withdrawn. If the source of fatty liver is infection then hygienic diet and clean water are must. If its because of alcohol or some medicine use then avoiding that will heal the liver.
