Hi! Can you repeat the query as your question doesn't contain any query here. Regards.

Brief Answer:
Mostly like autoimmune arthritis, rheumatologist followup to be continued

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, on another query, I followed your past record and laboratory reports in detail. the history that you have shared is quite detailed and helpful. I must say here that you have extra ordinary nerves and determination and you have faced all the troubles with resilience.

It is quite possible that initial symptoms may have been due to underlying thyroid illness or related endocrine or autoimmune disorders . The recurrent infections that you have mentioned can also be due to immunodeficiency state caused by these conditions.

Though recent issue that is bothering you the most which is involvement of joints extensively can be sequalae of psoriasis as well as occurrence of other related inflammatory polyarthritis.

Most of the reports that you have shared are inconclusive and extensive workup done by the rheumatologist is all to the point and has helped to rule out many aggressive arthropathies of autoimmune origins. He has started you on a steroid pulse and that is a right approach to proceed. I would suggest to keep a strict follow up with rheumatologist to see treatment response as other medications choices and immunosuppressive therapies will depend upon clinical response as well as tolerance to therapy.

For the symptomatic relief analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen or other non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs can be used with antacid cover and renal functions monitoring. If joint pain or bodyaches are debilitating and limiting your daily life activities kindly get a review with pain medicine specialist too for more potent analgesics like tramadol or gaba pentins.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
