Probably safe unless accompanied with systemic symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns , however CT scan and ultrasound is a good way to check for lymph nodes but unfourtanetly can not detect whether the lymph nodes are abnormal or not. Most small nodes( that measure less than 2 cms in diameter ) can be safely considered as reactive lymph nodes that will resolve on their own without any expected complications .. But although a lymph node less than 2 cm is most probably safe but still such a lymph node can indeed harbor an infection or cancer if you experience systemic symptoms such fever, chills, night sweats, weight loss.
If you experience any of these symptoms , then I would recommend that you take a fine needle biopsy test of the enlarged lymph nodes to exclude the presence of infection or cancer.. I hope I answered your question

thanks for the instant revert. I apprecate the time and efforts you have put accross to understand the issue.
The four symptoms mentioned ny you are not present except night sweating (thats very rare)
Please note the following signs of pain every night
1.There is a sense of weakness everynight and sense of needle pointing inside neck just below left ear
2..Haemoglobin level is low. It is at 10.50 levels.
Awaiting your revert.
Reactive lymph node enlargement
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, since the symptoms are not present , then the lymph node enlargement is probably a reaction to a mild infection.. As for the needling of the neck this could be due to neuritis which can be treated with vitamin b 12 supplements .. but if it did not improve then you will need a ct scan on cervical vertebrae to exclude disc prolapse ..
The weakness could be due to the low hemoglobin level which is probably an iron difficiency anemia that can be corrected with iron supplements for a month. I hope I answered your question
