Brief Answer:
Checked reports. Inputs given.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns.
* It seems that you have some degree of renal compromise.
* Your cholesterol and triglyceride levels are raised and you need to take some stain like rosuvastatin, and fenofibrate, for the same.
* If you take alcohol you need to cut down on it.
* Clinical correlation is needed in relation to your testosterone level.
* You need Vitamin D supplementation, both bolus and maintenance. Depura Liquid 60,000 Units can be taken once weekly for 4 weeks. Coralium D3 tablet can be taken once daily for couple of months.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards

Hi Doctor,

1) Can you put some more light on "* It seems that you have some degree of renal compromise? " What needs to be done here. What treatment needs to be taken and what is causing it. Is this a serious issue

2) Need more explanation on this "Clinical correlation is needed in relation to your testosterone level."Whats the cause and what kind of treatment required in this case. Is this a serious issue

3) My iron level seems to 55.8 ug/dl, what should be done for this deficiency.

4) Is there any thing to be done for the below test having lower/higher values :
hs-CRP = 2.36 mg/L
eGFR = 81 mL/min/1.73 m2
FERRITIN = 18.2 ng/ml
LIPASE = 56.3 u/l
MEAN CORP.HEMO.CONC(MCHC) = 29.5 g/dL
RED CELL DISTRIBUTION WIDTH - SD(RDW-SD) = 48.3 fL

Brief Answer:
You need to see your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for the inadvertent delay in responding.

1. No, I would need clinical details first. Based on that you need further work up. It would be advisable to see your treating physician for the same.

2. Same about the testosterone level. We treat patients, not reports. Just because a blood parameter is exhibiting some sort of variation does not mean that we would need to treat it. We need to play medical detectives and bring out the underlying story. This can only be done through proper correlation of the clinical scenario. It would be advisable to see your treating physician for the same. Based on his association he would be able to tell whether there is anything to worry about.

3. Iron supplementation along with folic acid and vitamin B12 supplementation should resolve the issue.

4. As already mentioned, somebody has to play a medical detective.

Thanks, doctor I will meet my physician.

Just need some more details on the creatinine level. Is this very high? or within limits. Also, I am an alcoholic, will the issue be resolved I totally stop drinking or is it going to go worse. Can dehydration cause this? If I keep my self-hydrated will the issue be resolved?

Your consoling words will be helpful

Brief Answer:
Those parameters are borderline deranged and are in the warning zone

Detailed Answer:
Glad to hear back from you. Although not very high, they are on the higher side. Although you definitely need to stop drinking, that alone might not be enough. Dehydration would not lead to such a thing. However, it is essential to maintain a good hydration.
