What Do These Pap Smear Test Report And HDL Cholesterol Levels Indicate?

Question: Hi there, I am 56 yr old and recently had a pap smear. It said it was normal but the one thing that my current PA didn't call me in and let me read my results through a portal was atropic changes present. I never got a call from my treating PA and have not had any sex in well over 2+ years. I have no sexual desire in any way. My estrogen level <23, another question I have. I had an ablasion in 2009 and the instrument failed to close after it head up the uterus lining, so the OBGYN had to insert another instrument a clamp to pull that fan like device out. An ambulance was on stand-by. With this new computer system my PA has, made me look up my labs on my own. This was the result: HDL Cholesterol
107 mg/dL (High)
Date: Mar 02, 2016 02:33 p.m. PST Reference Range:30 mg/dL - 85 mg/dL Learn more
Total Chol/HDL Ratio
2.4 (Low)
Date: Mar 02, 2016 02:33 p.m. PST Reference Range:3.0 - 4.5 Learn more
Non-HDL Cholesterol
150 mg/dL
Date: Mar 02, 2016 02:33 p.m. PST Learn more
LDL Cholesterol, Calc
132 mg/dL (High)
Date: Mar 02, 2016 02:33 p.m. PST Reference Range:50 mg/dL - 100 mg/dL
so why is my Good HDL so high but total is low, and I am barely over the LDL range but feel very curious and seems like I should have a follow up? Can you help me understand my concerns YYYY@YYYY
also I did take monostat for a yeast infection it was the one time use. Also, had an ENT test me for allergies and found I had yeast in my nasal area so was given pills. I will be getting my results on Monday. But, atropic cell changes worries me. Is it possible I am still cycling. I have very dense breast but during the month they become sore to touch. Just more FYI

Brief Answer:
Report is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The pap smear is normal, which is fine.
At your age, atrophic changes are expected, since there is no hormonal effect on the tissues.
So please do not worry about the Pap smear.
Also, the cholesterol levels are not worrisome.
Good cholesterol is high, which is great.
Total cholesterol to HDl ratio is low, which is also good.
Because HDL ( good cholesterol ) is high, the ratio of total cholesterol to good cholesterol is low, which is positive news.
LDL ( bad ) cholesterol is slightly high, which is also acceptable.
I find nothing in your results to worry about.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Thank you so much for reassuring me what all that meant. I knew I had high good cholestrol but it was beyond the normal. Makes me curious what I am doing right since I have been dieting to loose belly fat, my PA didn't seem like it was bad but it is new for me but guess menapause and lack of excercise is causing that. So, again this was a very positive experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I feel so much better..God Bless XXXX
