Brief Answer: Sugar levels look OK, Thyroid and adrenal levels? Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. I have gone through your sugar levels and you MIGHT be a candidate for further testing. The post prandials (after lunch and after dinner) are a BIT high. But no one would call you a diabetic at this point. I think we need to look for the causes of you symptoms beyond the diagnosis of diabetes. If nothing else is wrong, we can go back and get some more tests done and work on the diabetes issue in more detail. To that end, I have a few questions for you. This will help us zero in on what else might be causing them 1) I see that you are on Thyronorm. How long have you been taking the meds? Have you rechecked your thyroid levels since you started the thyronorm? In the first year after you start synthetic thyroid hormone (Thyronorm) its a good to check those levels every 4 to 6 months so we get the dosages right. 2) The dizziness and shivering could be related to the thyroid or to adrenal levels in your blood. Have you ever had your cortisol levels checked? It's a fasting test that you need do do in the early morning? Sound familiar? If you have any existing blood tests from the last year, it would be a good idea to upload them so we can take a look together. 3) The migraines and back pain. I don't know if they are related at all to your endocrine (hormonal) issues. It may be that we need to see if there are any pinched nerves in your neck. Can you describe the pain for me a bit. When does it start? Where does it go, what parts of the head and neck are affected? Etc. 4) Also, do you have any other medical issues? Blood pressure issues etc? What about in the family? Have you ever been in an accident? Hurt your back or your neck? This might be related to your pain. The more information you can give me the better. :-) So, to sum up, more info is key, but i think we can worry less about the diabetes for now and make sure all your other issues are being managed correctly. Let me know what you think. Looking forward to your reply. Take Care. Vinay
