Question: Hi doctor, i have tiny red spot on my penies foreskin past 5 or 6 years. Its not itching or increasing by size or count. I have had unprotected sex 11 years back and now am 31 years old. I did not feel any serious ill in these past 11 years and still am worried those spots. s there any chance for HIV or any other STD? is possible to get HIV after 11 years from sex ?
Brief Answer:
It couldbe aprominent vein with aclot.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts and photographs that you have posted it appears that you have a prominent vein with red spot on ventral aspect of your foreskin.
This is most likely to be a tributary of a vein which is more prominent with small clot or thickened wall. .
It is definitely due to STD or HIV and has no significance at all.
One can not acquire HIV 11 years after unprotected sex.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Yesterday I had discussion with one doctore here.. he said these spots are fordyce spots.. but I did not feel ill or any serious health problem in these 11 years.. do you think this is really cos of HIV or STD
Brief Answer:
It can be confirmed ony on clinical examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up.
I again emphasize that this is not due to either STI or HIV.
As regards fordyce spot It can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon.
These are spots due to accumulation of sebum beneath the skin and has no significance at all.
Most of the time they fade away without any treatment.
Thanks and Regards.
