What Do Vomiting And Diarrhea In Newborn Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My grandson is 6 1/2 months old. He was born at 351/2 weeks. He has had several digestive issues. He is currently on Nutramigen and limited table food (i.e applesauce) His recent upper GI x-ray showed normal. However in the last 4 days, he has been spitting up to the point of soaking shirts several times a day. He is having bowel movements- some watery- about 6 times a day. He has trouble falling asleep. He wakes up to eat and has trouble going back to sleep. In the daytime, his naps usually last about 20-30 mins. He has issues with tensed up feet and a lazy tongue. Allergy tests showed just a mild reaction to corn, but when mom fed baby wheat puffs, his face got a red rash. My daughter-in-law who has 2 older children can't seem to get anyone to take her seriously.
