Question: Bump on the gum and Tongue
Dear Doctor; I have three small white bumps on my gum, they are hard and I went to a dentist and I did X-ray and I was told everything was fine, however, I want re-assurance that everything is fine. Also, I noticed one small red pump on my inner tongue, it does not pain me and it does not have any lesion. I do not know whether it has been there for so long, however, I just noticed it. Kindly advise on this. Many thanks. Regards.

Brief Answer:
Swollen Circumvallate papillae.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
I have viewed the images.
The bump on tongue is swollen Circumvallate papillae..
You should start doing warm saline gargles and antiseptic mouthwash gargles..
However the Circumvallate papillae are anatomically large structures so it is not necessarily swollen.
Do not worry, it is not appearing abnormal.

Secondly, the image of gums is not clear and I can't rule out anything.
Please click clear picture and upload.

Regards.
