Question: When i pull the skin of my labia back i havd 3 little white looking dots under the skin in a vertical line. Its on the skin above my vaginal opening but at the top. They are under the skin and do not hurt. I noticed them years ago and a doctor said they were fine but im just wondering wat they could be. I am clean of stds and my pap smear was normal. I have no discharge pain or itching

Brief Answer:
They probably are blocked glands

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

I have read your notes. It would have been beneficial if you had uploaded the photograph of those spots (you can simply upload it at the reports section of this webpage).

Since they are present from years and have no symptoms, they probably are blocked glands (sweat or sebaceous). You need not bother about them.

You need to see your doctor only if they change in appearance or you develop any symptoms.

I hope this is helpful. Feel free to ask further.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama.

I have attached a picture just to be sure.

Yes I assumed they were blocked glands but I didn't know if you could get them there? Or what part of the vulva they are on?

Thank you. For you for my mind at rest about the blocked glands. I wasn't aware you could get them on the inner labia.

Sometimes the skin looks like it has little holes in.. like indents.. is this normal? It's on the glands. I also have 2 skin tags on my inner labia. Is this normal?

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If the indents are of same colour as the skin, that is perfectly normal.

It is normal to have skin tags.

Dr Rama
