What Do White Formations On The Tongue Indicate?
Question: I have been unable to afford to see a dentist as I am on Medicare with no dental coverage. I have only my bottom teeth and wear false teeth on the top. My back molars have been broken and have been wittled to at or below the gumline. I don't have any real pain, but I wake each morning with my tongue being covered by sort of a white filmy form of saliva that I always have to rinse out with Listerine. I don't know what causes it but it is very annoying. It has been going on for a long time, it's not just a recent event, and I think it's related to an old filled molar that has been broken to the root but still remains ingrained at and below the gum line.
Brief Answer:
abscess formation, pus discharge, tooth removal
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The white filmy form of saliva can be because of the tooth infection that has resulted in abscess formation, that is nothing but pus. So pus discharge can be a cause of this. So you need to consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. You may have to get the infected tooth removed.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back. take care.
