Acute pharyngitis with tonsillitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
welcome to healthcaremagic and thanks for putting up the query
white spots on the throat and over the tonsils are mostly due to bacterial or fungal infection
a throat swab can be done to see the possible cause of infection
please tell me do you have any pain while swallowing?
any degree of fever?
for how long are you having these white spots ?
best would be if you can attach the picture of the lesions that will help me to assist you in a better way
any further questions are always welcome
use hexidine gargles 3 to 4 times a day
avoid alcohol on smoking
thanks and regards

Hello I have tried to upload 2 photos to show you. The reason this concerns me is I have had a dry cough for 12 months so, with a discomfort in my throat when swallowing but only now it seems to have become visible after so long . I also have very dried parts on my heel which you can see in the second photo . I'm worried both the feet and throat are fungal related which makes me
Believe it might be HIV related ....

Detailed Answer:
Hi
thanks for the follow up query
in the pictures, the foot seem to have fungal infection..use fluconazole ointment after washing your feet with warm water and drying them..use it 4 to 5 times a day
for the throat infection, get a throat swab done..alongwith the medicines i prescribed you earlier, also use a candid mouth paint..
As you are having a chronic cough..this needs to be investigated..get a xray done and a spirometry done..also get blood sugar and hiv status tested..
Get a sputum for AFB done..if possible get examined yourself by a pulmonologist..
No smoking and take nebulizer
