What Do White Spots On The Anus Indicate?

default
Posted on Sat, 21 Jun 2014
Question: I have got a couple of white spots on either side of my anus. I first noticed it six weeks back, since then the spots are still there. No pain or burning. There was some itching initially, but after I shaved the area, the itching went away. What could this be? I have had recent exposure to handjob and rimjob during massages, but have never had penetrative sex except with my wife. What could these white spots be? Follicutis or STDs?

Brief Answer:
Folliculitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your query.

The site involved here is very common for folliculitis. Also, presence of no itching or pain indicates that it could be a follicular cyst with no inflammation. It can be removed with minor incision or left as they are. Most of times they disappear on their own without needing any treatment.

If the lesions stay for more than 3 months then do get examined and removed under sterile conditions.

Hope, I answered your query.
