Is there any sort of treatment to prevent more appearing? As well as treatment to have them subside without surgery?

No treatment to prevent more from appearing, apply tretinoin cream
Detailed Answer:
There is no treatment to prevent more from appearing.
You can try applying tretinoin 0.05 percent cream on them at night for 2-3 weeks.
It might help in reducing them.
