What Does ALT-75 And AST-43 Indicate?

need not worry much.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.
The normal level of ALT in adult males is below 50 U/L and AST below 45 U/L(there can be minor variation between laboratories).
So your AST is normal, but ALT is marginally elevated.
With the given history of alcoholism, this marginal elevation is expected(celexa is not a common cause for elevated transaminases).
We will have a more clear idea with repeat testing after 4-6 weeks.
At present, you need not worry much, and no treatment is needed.
Anyhow,it is better to stop alcohol,as any initial fatty changes can be totally reversed, and progression to irreversible cirrhosis can be prevented.
Hope this will answer your query.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
