Brief Answer:
no need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic .

The alt raise in you is not so significant to worry much. But omeprazole is known to cause asymptomatic raise in alt . This will normalise once drug is stopped.

In females drinking controlled quantity of alcohol also may cause raised alt. I would suggest you to stop alcohol completely for 3 months and get alt repeated.

Meanwhile consult your doctor and discuss regarding change of drug to pantoprazole instead of omeprazole which doesn't have much effect on liver enzymes. If possible stop them completely.

Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.

Brief Answer:
less likely to be gall stones

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Your symptoms doesn't match symptoms of gallstones. Though you may have been diagnosed on ultrasound but generally when gall stones produce symptoms it will be like severe pain in right upper part of stomach and intermittent.

Your symptoms goes more in favor of gastritis which have evening pain, indigestion and wind problem and problem while eating fatty meal. This problem after having fatty food may be seen in reflux disease or pancreatic problem. So its better you get yourself evaluated.

I am glad that I have been of some help to you . If you don't have any further queries you may close the discussion and rate the response .
