What Does AST And ALT Levels Of 30 Indicate?

Question: Recent blood test indicated that my SGOT (AST) and SGPT (ALT) were each 30. Aren't those levels a bit high? I don't drink or smoke or take meds. I eat a low fat, high carb, vegan diet. I have attached my two most recent test results. Do these results show anything that should concern me?
Brief Answer:
everything is in normal range.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I had gone through your query and read carefully your test reports.
I can tell that all your blood tests are normal.Considering the test results you are very healthy.
The normal range for AST in blood is 5-45 U/L and for ALT is 7-55 U/L.
From your blood tests your AST and ALT are both 30 U/L which means that theses enzymes are in normal range.
Considering the fact that all the other function tests of liver are in normal range ,you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any other question or doubt to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
