Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to HCM
You have marginally raised D-Dimer level. You need proper clinical examination and further investigations.
In view of leg pain,Venous doppler of lower limb is most important.
It is also important to know about leg swelling and fever.
Doppler of lower limbs will exclude thrombus in veins.
If doppler study of lower limbs is normal then other causes should be searched.
It may be false positive increased in inflammation, high rheumatoid factor, after surgical procedures, trauma, liver disease etc.
Pulmonary cause like pulmonary embolism should also be ruled out in raised D-Dimer level.

If Doppler study is normal then possibility of blood clot is excluded.
You shouldn't worry.
Calf muscle pain may be due to calf muscle stiffness(usually from exercise or exertion).
It is also important to exclude lumbar spine problem like disc prolapse. But,these patients also have low backache, tingling & numbness in lower limbs.
MRI Of L/S Spine can be done to exclude disc prolapse.
Lipid profile and hypertension should also be excluded.
