What Does "Lymphs 48 High Range 14 - 46" Mean?
Question: Recently had a CBC w/differential/Platelet, Metabolic Panel(14) which indicated :
Lymphs 48 High range 14 - 46 and Lymphs (absolute) of 3.3 High I range 0.7 - 3.1
Also:
Bun 6 Low range 8 - 27 and BUN/Creatinine 7 Low range 11 - 26
could you please tell me is I should be concerned, what exactly do these results mean? I only have 1 Kidney!

It is understandable to be concerned about any abnormality in your results but the reason that your doctor may not have mentioned these results is that the changes are mild and not likely indicative of any significant abnormalities.
Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell (fights infection or inflammation). Your lymphocyte percentage and absolute lymphocyte count are only just above the upper limit of normal. This increase from 46 to 48 for the lymphocytes and 3.1 to 3.3 for the absolute value would not be considered medically significant.
If they were higher then your doctor may want to check to see if you have any evidence of infection. The other cause of increased values (again this would be a a lot higher than your values) would be conditions such as leukemia or lymphoma.
The BUN/urea value is below the normal range of 8 to 27, your value is 6. Low values can occur in low protein diet, increased fluid intake
Because the BUN is low , the ratio would be low. It is a reflection of the BUN value
You do not need to be concerned about the above values because the changes are minor and not medically significant
