Brief Answer: Your reports seem to be normal Detailed Answer: Hi, thanks for writing in. The reports seem to be normal. You need mot worry at all. The only borderline values are those of lipid profile which happen to be towards the higher side of normal. For that you need to restructure your diet with the help of a medical dietician along with a schedule for exercise. No medications are required. Anisopoikilocytosis means variation in size and shape of the R BC's. This is usually accompanied with iron deficiency anemia.Normocytic normochromic is normal apperance of the RBC. Microcytes and ovalocytes may at times be developmental forms. But as the report does not comment on their numbers there is nothing to worry. But all othe supporting reports pertaining to the same issue are normal. therefore you need not worry. It can also be an artifact. You can repeat the peripheral blood smear after a month to recheck. I hope this answers your query. Regards

Brief Answer: High HDL is protective. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing in. HDL levels are protective. Higher levels are associated with increased protection against heart attacks. Increase in HDL can be induced by the following 1. Increased consumption of omega fatty acids 2. Jogging 3. Niacin (vitamin B3) consumption. 4. Moderate amounts of alcohol. Rest of the lipids can be reduced by a combination of dietary modifications ,regular exercise and stress management. I hope this answers your doubt. regards
