What Does TSH Level Of 10 Indicate?

you need to get clinically examined and investigated further..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX Welcome to HealthcareMagic,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,
First of all, please note that TSH level above 10 definitely needs a thorough evaluation. However, it has to be investigated further, i.e. along with FreeT3, FreeT4, and anti-TPO antibodies.
Ideally, you should also be clinically examined by either an Internal Medicine Specialist/ Endocrinologist (to look for any salient features of any underlying Thyroid dysfunction, not necessarily Hypothyroidism)...
As you've mentioned you recently have undergone thorough health check-up, please check if these additional investigations were done already. If not, then please get them done at the earliest in order to correlate with the TSH level for the next course of action (treating it accordingly)...
I've tried to make as simple as possible for you to understand, please let me know if you're having any further queries...
Take Care
Kind Regards

Here are the thyroid related parameters in the report.
TSH 10.39 uiU/ml
T4 6.8 mcg/ml
T3 87ng/dL
follow-up consultation..
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,
I believe you're referring to Total T3 and T4 level here(ideally it should be free T3 and T4 levels)..however additionally I'd suggest you go for anti-TPO antibodies also..along with this, please also visit an Endocrinologist as you may need appropriate supplementation(Thyroxin) after clinical examination...
So go for it and yes, you'll most likely be needing treatment for this...
Take Care
Kind Regards
