What Does A GGT Level Of 103 Indicate?
Question: I have recently test for GGT level of 103, I don't drink but will take Saridon Tablet whenever I got headached due to migrane, but have reduced it in last 6 -8 months. I smoke very rarely (2 /3 per month). Have no other health related issues as of now. Have also started workout 3-4 times a week at Gym. How to bring down the GGT level & advise precautions to take?

Increased GGT is generally related to alcoholic hepatitis.It may be related to overdose of saridon but SGPT is also expected to increase.
I suggest few investigations with such findings like complete liver function test including bilirubin level,random blood sugar,lipid profile,viral markers and ultrasound of abdomen.
I also suggest tablet ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg twice daily for three months.It helps in regeneration of liver cells.
