Question: Hi...My Self XXXX..I have SGPT 145 and S.Billirubin total 0.7....S.Bilirubin conjugted 0.3 and unconjugated 0.1...also S.Bilirubin XXXXXXX 0.3....Please advise

I suggest to take ursodeoxycholic acid 300mg BD.

Hello XXXX

Your findings suggests raised SGPT level.
Increased SGPT level indicates liver injury.Increase in SGPT may be due to many reasons like hepatitis,alcohol intake,altered lipid profile,medicines,auto immune causes etc.You need proper evaluation.

You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,lipid profile,viral markers.
Ultrasound of abdomen should be done to assess liver.

I suggest my patients to take tablet ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg twice daily for three months.It will help in regeneration of liver cells.

You should avoid red meat and high fat milk products.
You will be fine soon.

Dear Sir,

I have uploaded my reports dated 30/10/2014 and latest of dated 06/11/2014. Also uploaded report of my ultrasonic of abdomen. As per my doctors, they have advised me Tab Udiliv 300 and Tab Xoclave 625...Please advise your opinion. Also
Please let me know when my SGPT level will come down to normal..

Latest report indicate improvement in bilirubin level,but SGPT level is not declined much.
Urine report is also improved.
You should take tablet udiliv.It contains ursodeoxycholic acid and it helps in regeneration of liver cells.
It may take 3-4 months for correcting SGPT level.
You should avoid fried and junk food.

You have been prescribed tablet Xoclave 625 due to enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes.You should take it.

Dear Sir,

Actually I have made another report on 31/10/14 which I have not uploaded. In that report SGPT was 200...Now in yesterdays report it come down to 145...At present I am taking more of a glucose and fruits..not much of a carbohydrates..Also having dal and rice only...So please let me know if I can take diet roti, subzi or not ??..Also Docotors advised me for complete rest but I am coming to office for few hours where I am sitting in AC and not doing any hard work..
Please advise..

It is good SGPT level is responding to medicines.It will be normal soon.
You can take normal home made food low in fat.
I don't think this condition need complete bed rest.You can do light office work.There shouldn't be much restriction.
