What Does A Bump On Vulva Indicate?
Question: Hi,
About 2 days ago, I noticed 3 hard tiny flesh-colored (a little redness) bumps on the right side on my vulva. Yesterday, they are now on the left side too. They are not in patches, but aligned. I have not experienced any pain, just slight itching now and then. Should I be concerned and make an appointment with my GYN doctor? I have been using Monistat to help with the relief of the itching.

Hi....I have enclosed a picture for your review. I have been with the same man for many years and never use protection. The risk of pregnancy is zero. I also forgot to mention that I started tsking Gilenya for my MS about 4-5 weeks ago. Please let me know. I sent the photo about an hour ago for your review. Thanks!
Brief Answer:
folliculitis of vulva
Detailed Answer:
I have seen the attached picture.
It is folliculitis of the vulval region which is very common and easily treatable condition.
Take tablet amoxyclav 625 mg twice a day for 5 days and apply fusidic acid cream on the affected region twice a day for 5 days.
Lesions will start subsiding within 2-3 days but in case they increase or fail to subside then visit a dermatologist or gynecologist at the earliest.
Take care.
